Hey all,
Time for a new motor, as I damaged my Hyper .21 8port this weekend (due to my own stupid fault). I was wondering what is the difference between the RB Concepts C6 and the S7WIII. Will either one work woth my JP2 pipe?
I'm not asking which one is better, I just don't know what the differnece is between the two.
Just as background, I race at Revelation Raceway in Monclair.
Thanks

as far as i am aware.....
a C6 will offer a bit more low down torque with a nice progressive power curve
whereas
the WS7 will rev a bit more and the power comes in a little higher in the rev range.

the C6 is a long stroke engine with MES (multi Exhaust System) basically 1 main & 2 smaller exhaust ports
the WS7 engines have a "square" configuration where the bore is the same as the stroke & in "theory" should be higher revving engine although this isn't always the case likewise the longer stroke engine should produce more torque
venturi size, state of tune & pipe selection will have more of a deciding factor over the above variables anyway

Thanks all,
thats what I thought.
So a C6 with a JP2 is a good choice for a medium track? I would like to not have to buy the 2045 pipe, just to save a little money.
If not, then I guess I will go with a Rossi P5.
Thanks.

Running a C6 with JP-2 right now and it works great. Be prepared for the monster bottom end of the C6. It takes a bit getting used to. Top end is great with that pipe too but I've heard 2045 + 92mm header is the real ticket for the C6.
It's easy to tune and it runs pretty cool in a good race tune with 30%.
Never ran a Ws7III so I can't compare the two.

I run a WS7iii and its awsome, got a JP1 pipe on it and it gives great torque and loads of top end. I know some one who has C6 with a JP2 and it rips. he is the top contender in my area. I have jeard the JP3 is great, gives both top and bottem end power. But both are good engines, whatever you choose from RB you won't be disappointed
