Our 150$/season membership includes all races and that's 150$ CDN... With the 27 members, we still managed to build and maintain the track all summer and bought a MGT for the season end party draw. We still have money to throw in small gifts at the party.
Mind you, we are only a small club, maybe you are holding bigger events and this is why you have $ problems in the end. You need to find a way to keep the track dude, don't leave the hobby...[sm=cry_smile.gif]

montrealer Our track is not much but other them my family it is what I look forward to. We race just about every weekend but only have 9 to 12 racers. I do not own the track just would break my heart if it closed. I do all I can to get the word out about the track and spend hours a week doing so. I put my RC stuff up for all most a year and was thinking about selling at least sum of it until the track open. Not only do I like to race but also I enjoy hanging out with others that are in the hobby. Until the track open all I did was bash in my front yard and not the word bashing is not in my vocabulary. Thanks for the support!

Man I feel for you.
I really hope you keep your track opened. I also made great friends this summer because of this track. It's kinda funny actualy, up until the last 13 years, since my son's birth, I was relatively without any regular friends with (voluntarely). Now my wife finds it very funny when grown up men call home and ask my wife if I can come and play with "little cars" at the track... LOL !!!
Anywho, keep it alive budy !
Good luck.

Montrealer--what did you use for those rumble strips and that one jump in the foreground?It looks
like a large pipe or...? I can get used plastic drums and pails from work (we distill Crown Royal-just a product placement plug
)
I think drums cut in half would make nice sized jumps. I know this is a post your track pics thread, I'll do that when its photo worthy!
