RE: OFFICIAL HYPER 7 THREAD
Hey guys, i got a starter box now, but tis only a 1/10 starter box so my Hyper 7 doesnt really fit on properly with pegs on
So what starter box works real good with the Hyper 7?, with the pegs on it, yes i know i have to set it up etc etc
So which one is good where i can set the pegs PERFECT, so i can just plonk my hyper 7 on and just push down
WIll the Ofna Chrome Top work good?, does anyone use this with a Hyper 7?
Thanx
Nathan

RE: OFFICIAL HYPER 7 THREAD
I have the ofna true start universal starter box It has a chrome top,if this is the one your talking about, yes it will work.
I got a hyper7 about 6 months ago off a friend who hardly ran it. It started out as a rtr and since then I've did some upgrades center braces, cb radio tray and front plate, hyper 8 port, added rear cvds new body and wheels. I'll post some pics once I'm done.

RE: OFFICIAL HYPER 7 THREAD
i'm using a team magic x5 but its not the best out there.heard the hippo2 starterbox is nice
i was really impressed by that engine.can stand with the big names out there but way cheaper then Italian brands. friend of mine even ditched his os v spec (he's an engine eater so lower priced parts convinced him ).if you are on a budget the sh is definitely the engine to get

RE: OFFICIAL HYPER 7 THREAD
Do any of you guys fill the diffs with silicone? or seal the bottom of the diff cases?
I filled the diffs, f-5 c-7 r-3 and sealed the bottom of the diff cases with rtv.
I'm going to be racing this summer, i know it won't be the newest buggy out there but, at least it can compete!

RE: OFFICIAL HYPER 7 THREAD
yeah i know hara. i like my buggy to have some booty roll, fits my driving style of swinging the back end through turns. i'll probably put 3,000 wt in there after opening day at my local track. you know, i'm actually thinking of getting an STS engine as my next mill. but still up in the air right now, kinda leaning toward the RB C5 though.

RE: OFFICIAL HYPER 7 THREAD
Yeah. They are very good engines. After the sirio decides to Kick the bucket, im getting one of them Go Tech 7 Ports, with Dynamite 086 Pipe, ABSOLUTE screamer, and really really cheap, and could keep up with an RB anyday.Have a look at the Go Tech and see what think. Im gonna give one a GO [8D][X(][>:]

speaking of the GO engines, i was just looking at that on amainhobbies.com. good price and i here they are good engines. they must be good because amainhobbies is sold out of em. i do like the gold cooling head on them also. i already have the dynamite 086 pipe, i just havent had a chance to run my werks b3 with it yet.
