I think its for entry level RTRs that sometimes have engines bigger than .21s.
It allows less strict rules for people to 'run what you brung'

It seems that theres not enough wrong with it to stop me buying one, I splashed the cash on the buggy today.

I got the buggy today and striped the nitro stuff off it, so if anyone in the UK wants any of it send a PM:-
Engine mount
Manifold
Tuned pipe
Air filter
3 Shoe aloy clutch
15 Tooth mod 1 pinion
Radio box with rubber switch boot
Fuel tank
Brakes 2 front, 1 rear, drilled discs inc arms and cams

All unused, lots still in sealed bags

I am very pleased by the quality of this buggy, judging from the dificulty I had sawing and drilling the aloy bits I think its mighty tough.

It's not quite finished so the peformance is untested as yet.

Looks good so far.

8lb 2.4oz without the body, motormount or speed controller, I'm looking at about 8.5-9lb rtr, whats the avaerage rtr weight of an IC buggy?
