That would be the unburnt caster oil and other additive crap they put into sidewinder, which is why engines always run hotter on that stuff.

The biggest thing I do not like about Sidewinder is all the brownest yellowiest build up in the engine with it. May not hurt but being a motorcycle machine for 35 plus years prefer not to have it. Byron and O’Donnell fuels after running 8 or 9 gallons the inside of my engines look all most new.

I have tested different brands and so far I like the most is Traxxas with 20% Nitro fuel. At the beginning I use to buy whatever would make the engine scream and go ballistic, not anymore.

Sidewinder 30% championship blend. That is almost al my LHS stocks. But from this thread I will try Bryons and see if get anything different in regards to temps and performance.
