I didn't talk to them, I was just out there when when they where. but if I remember corectly, I didn't see them tune it, but they could have tuned it before I got there.

From: Dead Center,
Look into the axe rossi mamba. A main has them on sale from time to time for 199.99 and its a wicked fast engine. My brohter has one in his sp2 and it runs flawlessly, easy to tune and has loads of smooth power.

a friend of mine runs this engine in his 9.5 violator and when we ran mine vs his he absolutely distroyed me bottom mid and top end I never had a chance. thats why i picked up a ws7 III for my jammin and 2 of the tm928's

PIcco, Go-Tech are the two fastest of the $200 engines...... The Mamba is also another great engine.... whatever you do do not purchase a Toki engine LOL !

i am not really looking for a really fast engine. i already have a Novarossi P5. all i want is to have a backup engine that is a breeze to tune and holds it well while making decent power. is this sportwerks v2 basically a .21 version of a mach?

It holds a tune well, is fairly fast, and is very similar to the Dynamite mach .21, the SH, LRP or Nosram engines (all made by golden Lion).
Its a league below the others but if you look at my post above and get one at that price its well worth it, if your gonna pay $189 your a fool for not picking the mamba or Go-tech.
At $100 ish its a steal, and one of the better 'budget' engines.

The Picco would outpower the P5 pretty good....so it wouldnt be the best for backup duty...... the Go 5 port is a copy of a P5X with a few tweaks anyways.... so if you like the P5 you will love the Go 5 port...
IMO your spending $200 to get a motor, just because its a backup motor doesn't mean you should aim to purchase a lesser motor..I mean your spending the same money anyways.... the SW 21 is a RTR grade engine, the Go-Tech is a race grade engine...they cost the same money...so to me its really a no brainer.... But i guess if you've justified purposely buying a lesser mill then all the power to ya............ If it was my $$ i would be looking for the best motor possible...I mean a SW 21 has nothing on a Go engine, they are a very different class of engine
