Losi 8eigh buggy kit question on solidity
I want an 1/8 scale buggy for BASHING ONLY!!! I'll put a Novarossi plus 28-7 in it and i want jump and play in sand pit only.
My main choice is the Mugen MBX5R and the Jammin X1 CR FT.
But at my LHS, they've a great deal on the 8eigh, but i've eared that this buggy is a good racer, but not very reliable and solid compare to the other Mugen,Jammin or Ofna.
Is it true???
Thank you!

I would say my 8ight shure can take a beating. Plus Losi parts are so easy to find local. My buddy has a MBX5R and he has had issues with there carbon fiber parts not being durable enough. He burns me though but I am running stock mach and he has a ninja.

yes the mugen will normally stand up in durability. in your situation i would maybe go truggy to bash. i know guys that have raced, not bashed but raced the same old mugen for several years and only had to replace a hub or somthinmg similar. sey, i mean yes the 8eigh is made for racing as is the mbx5r although in bashing situations i would prefer a mugen over losi for the fact of durability, although i do not personally bash. iv heard the jammin bashes well too. go mugen or jammin, not losi to bash.

Thank you man, i've found an almost new X1X jammin (only 4 race on it) for $350.00.
And i've just buy new Novarossi plus 28-7ports, so i think that for bashing, it'll be a good setup
