I want this radio (also for my 1/10 electric), and a nitro buggy, so it makes sense to do RTR (some club racing maybe).

I know the Losi 8 comes with this radio, and also the Sportwerks Turmoil (which has been discontinued...so not an option).

I plan to keep the car for a long time, do some club racing, and upgrade as I break it, so I want a good brand that will provide support for a long time to come, a good basic chassis with a lot of upgrade potential.

Just the LOSI 8 and the new LOSI LST XXL. The XXL comes with a dx3s though

how much you want to bet when they come out with the 2.0 rtrs they will the dx3s.

Will not be to many more years before all RTR come with 2.4GHz radio systems.

The 8ight RTR comes with the Spektrum DX2.0 which lacks Dual-rate adjustment. This is a often used basic feature, so I would not get the 8ight based solely on the radio as you most likely will upgrade later. I would wait for the 2.0 if it does indeed come with the Spektrum DX3S. That radio has all the basic, often-used features and more.

why would a company chew off there foot and sell a top quaity radio with and RTR model. (that don't make no sense at all)[&:]

Losi can include a nice Spektrum radio with their RTRs because Horizon Hobbies is the distributor and parent company of both Losi and Spektrum. So the cost to them is minimal and gives them an advantage over other companies that have to source their radio gear from an outside company.

There ya have it!!.....now does it make sense! Horizon definately have the advantage.

plus the radio is a major selling factor for them.... do you have any idea of the amount of persons bought 8ights n 8ight-ts over other buggys and truggys because of their radio?
