Cen Matrix Opinions
I am looking for a truggy now since I just got the RC8 and now got the truggy bug LOL, but I have someone who is willing to trade my Blade 400 Heli for the Cen Matrix but with just no engine.. It is in very good shape and comes with TONS of extra parts, extra chassis, rx, servos so I just gotta pop in one of my OS VZB specs as I have 2 bran new in the box I was going to sell... My question is how is the quality of this truggy, durablity, and is it one of the top of the line truggys out there? Thank you all.

RE: Cen Matrix Opinions
I have a matrix truggy & it is decent allthough it does have some shortcomings. It's a little heavy , the upper turnbuckles tend to bend easy, the fuel tanks notoriously leak, & if it still has the 23mm hexes your wheel choices are somewhat limited. All the issues can be addressed, but would cost extra $ of course. As a matter of fact i bought a jammin crt so i would have a working truck while i addressed the prob. w/ the matrix. The jammin has had no issues & i bought it used. If you don"t want something you have to tinker w/ the matrix may not be the best choice. You are talking matrix truggy right?

No I am sorry I am talking about the matrix tr arena fr edition buggy. How is that buggy, and does it compete with my RC8 RT? Thank you all.

RE: Cen Matrix Opinions
lol, well they are and they arent.
The old matrix is bad. Weighs six tonnes and handles like a tree.
But then theres completely modded ones with koyosho diffs, all the aluminium and cf. they are a lot lighter and a lot better.
And the new matrix is supposed to be a lot better.

RE: Cen Matrix Opinions
Thanks for the info, but for the price I decided to go with it and he has it FULLY upgraded to the max, and he did put on kyosho diffs and many other products, so will this be a good competitor in the truggy class with a VZB champion engine stage 2 AB modded?

AB's mod will help..buts its still a heavy truck....im sure you'll do fine with it....just dont expect it to handle like a 8ight or other newer breed trucks.

RE: Cen Matrix Opinions
Thank you fellas, I am going to go with a OS 28 with AB mods stage 2, I really got this for my fiance as I have my RC8RT an I love that dam buggy. For the price no one could pass it up I got the RC8 kit with a OS vzb, 3 model tx, rx, bump box, upgraded parts, 2 bodies, 2 wings. used MAYBE 3 times for 650$ and if I wanted I could make money on it selling it, but that is a keeper. The cen I got for the blade without the dx6 which costed 325$ so for that price I had to get my fiancee a car that can compete on open nights rather than my tmaxx 33 or supercharged jato, man if that jato was 4x4 it would rule the track, can you convert the jato too 4 wheel drive? Thanks fellas, you have all been very helpful. Jason

I'm using it for bashing exclusively but I'm going to see how it does on the track soon.
