Default diff grease or diff silicone fluid

what are the advantages and disadvantages of the two as have the diffs apart right now and wanted to know what to put back in grease was originally in there

Silicone diff fluid allows you to tune your differentials for different performance characteristics. The grease that's in there does nothing but keep the gears lubed. A good starting point is 5000wt in front, 7000wt in center and 3000wt in rear.
