RTR is just for advertizing. You will need to take the car apart one way or another. Your throttle linkage isnt setup right and your idle is too low, and your LSN is too rich. Lean your LSN a little bit, move your idle so and take the air filter off so at idle and when you press brake the carb is in the same position. Check to see if the throttle trim is at 0 or is setup right. Whats happening is at idle when linkage is pulling the carb out a little bit because of the throttle trim probably and thats why you have a high idle, then you when brake the carb goes in further and dies. So lean LSN and raise idle until you can get it to idle steady and low.

As for your carb...can you take a pic of the hole where the air filter goes when it's in the idle position. I've had this car and I want to see how far open the carb is.

Wow! That's real pricy for what you got. If I were you I would try avoiding dealing with them. If you want a great RTR buggy look into the Ofna buggies.

sounds like you just need to adjust the trottle linkage, its sinple to do yourself. on the note of after run its not really needed, it just ensures that it will last but i havent done after run in months and my truck runs perfect considering.
