sounds like you just need to adjust the trottle linkage, its sinple to do yourself. on the note of after run its not really needed, it just ensures that it will last but i havent done after run in months and my truck runs perfect considering.

i run the pro .15. my truck never sits for mor that 2 weeks anyway. my uncle never did after run on his tmaxx .15 and it ran well. i guess thats a promotion for the pro .15. i did after run on my 1/8 buggy but that was only because i didnt know how to do anything else, i did the one thing i knew.

It looks like the spring on the throttle linkage doesn't have any tension on it and there is a gap on one end. Its a bit hard to tell because its hiding behind the pull start. There needs to be a bit of tension on the spriong to bring it back to an idle, but not too much that it binds when the brakes are on.
