Default V-spec HSN ?

Can anyone check out their v-spec and give me a general idea of your tuned HSN setting? I have it tuned to where I get good performance and nice temps in the 220 range max but the HSN is turned in way more than any other engine I have. My picco's are maybe turned in 1-2mm from being even with the surrounding sheath around the screw while on the v -spec it is closer to 8-10mm in. Like i said it runs great and probably has a liitle more in it then Im getting but it just seems odd.

Default RE: V-spec HSN ?

Factory / Break in settings on HSN is 3 1/2 turns out. But remember these usually come with 3 needle carbs. The PICCO based engine I have is a 2 needle carb.

Once broken in, my VZB V-spec Speed (?) (black head) liked to run quite lean.....and it RIPPED. After a tank, if I spit on the head a bit and it bubbles off instantly....I know I'm running too lean. Just keep a decent amount of smoke coming out of the pipe and make sure it doesn't get too hot....that's my experience.

Any one else with more detailed info???
