Engine sealing

I would have posted this on the nitro engine board but it doesn't get much traffic these days, anyways what is the method for sealing a motor? I've got 2 hyper Macstar 28s that run great but I'm concerned about them picking up air leaks as time goes on, I tried a rcu search and got nothing, any help would be much appreciated [8D] thanks guys

I use Lucky 7 engine sealant. You don't have to take the engine apart to seal it, it dries fast and if you want to remove it, it comes off easy. It wicks into the spaces, you can just brush it on. Don't use silicone sealant, it's a nightmare if you ever need to take things apart.

Hi Dealspeed.

Check this link to another thread here on RCU. About half way down the page you'll see a post with four pics of an engine that has been sealed up.

I highly recommend Lucky 7. It's what a number of engine modders use...and that's good enough for me not to bother screwing around with anything else.;)
