Do yall steer the rudders like a rc car would steer the wheels?

If so could yall send me the pieces and a plan maybe

hi! would like to help you, but im also still doing my airboat and not yet into the steering part. you can try browse previous posts, im sure there's lots of pics and infos you can find.

I connect a peice of music wire to my servo horn directly to hte bracket on the rudder (air or water idea is the same). there really is no set pattern for how it has to be done, just what will work for your design needs. I'll try to post a couple of pics a little later

but ya see i put fishin string from my servo horn to my rudder and it just didnt turn enough..

i think fishing string might not be a very good idea, because the string have a tendency to stretch those making it difficult. try to replace it with a steel cable like the ones use in bicycle brake. just avoid metal to metal contact. i myself use a piece of metal rod i got from a broken umbrella, since i don't know where to find music wire here. hope this helps.

What is that part called...the one the red arrow is pointing too.

The part I would need would be:
1. A threaded rod
2. Control horn
3. 4 ball links
4. the piece that the red arrow is pointing too
^is that correct?
