Hi all.I've been reading for a while and getting ready to build my first airboat.I'm going to build with a boogie board and i was wondering about the setup as far as thrust angle and should the rudder hinge line be straight up or tilted forward or backward.I've read that it should balance about a 1/3 of the way from the back. Any tips before I get started would be appreciated
Thanks

Ballance is determined how you want it to handle. the farther back the more stable as far as ggoing straight but to far will make it want to blow over. The farther forward the loosser it'll be in turns (and funner too) and less apt to blow over. As far as thrust angle start at 0 and adjust from there to trim it. Rudder hinge line should be straight up to start with for yout first build.
