A standard servo will suffice for your throttle.

depending on the engine size. Prop size can be anywhere from 13 x 8 up to but not limited to 16 x 10. We need more information on what you have

Info on a prop size for a chainsaw might be hard to find. Not many people use chainsaw motors. Due to all the torque and HP of them though, I'd recommend a prop on the larger size used for a weed wacker motor. Sorry I can't give you any specifics.

Since it's a gasser, it's recomended that you get a high torque servo for the rudders.
A suggestion for the rudders http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXDTB3&P=ML

And a Futaba S3003 or S3004 or equivalent will work fine for the throttle. Any servo will work fine for it really.

I assume that you are keeping the the recoil and using the original output shaft on the engine.

You will need to have a prop adapter made.......Could you show us a nice clear close-up pic of the shaft?

What are the number markings on the engine....for a Craftsman, it should be something like:
example: 917.60003

Have you tried to take the clutch assembly off the engine yet? Are the threads standard or left hand threads? left hand thread would be better for keeping the adapter on , but just try and find an affordable left hand thread tap. [link=http://www.irwin.com/irwin/consumer/jhtml/detail.jhtml?prodId=IrwinProd100437]Irwin[/link] has them, no prices though.

Standard thread is acceptable as long as loc-tite is used to retain the adapter.

OoOoOoOooo...O.K., left hand. Have you contacted Wackerengines? will they make one for you? -or-
Do you have access to a machine shop? Take your clutch piece to a machine shop and see what it would cost to have a prop adapter made with those threads. the adapter would have to be long enough for the prop to clear the muffler.

Why would you haft to make it a puller? You do not need the cover to keep the engine cool. I have made all my airboats pushers like real airboats and do not have cooling problems.
I run Gas not Nitro as far as a Prop adapter I just finished one with Left Hand threads 8Mx1.25MM for a customer with a chain saw engine for his Airboat. This Prop adapter for your boat needs to be right for safety reasons I have seen on this forum and others Prop adapter made out of plastic and other rigs to hold on a prop the RPMs are to high for that kind of stuff.
You will need a make Good engine stand and some runner’s glass in the bottom of the boat to attach the engine stand too.
I will stop here before I step on someone’s toes.
