I am a newbie at rc. I have like $45 dollars saved up and was wondering what kind of boat I should buy. I would be running it in a pool (about three feet deep) and a lake/pond. Any kits would be nice too. Thanks in advance.

Your kidding right. The only boat I know of that is in your price range is at Wal-Mart. I got one for my 3 yr old. It was $29.99 and you have to buy 12 AA batt.'s He thinks its cool anyway.

Save your pennies and get a Zig-Zag racer for around $80.00. A lot of bang for the buck and it will smoke any Radio Shack or Nikko boat for the price. Pretty much all you'll have to buy is some batteries for the transmitter. The boat batteries and charger are included.
