My Feedback: (1)
Have an 1/8 scale hydro and need paint brand options. I have finished sanding it and did not have a primer so I started painting the bottom with gloss black store spray paint as a sealer, Have started to sand it down to a thin rough coat and realized that other final paints might not work with it.
It is Quick Color by RoC Sales all purpose Gloss black.
It actually went on very nice and I put some nitro on a test area to see if it would harm the area and it was fine.
What sort of paints are options for me to finish the boat?
I have the ability to use a spray gun for application so I was thinking maybe Auto paint.
Thank you for your time,
Jeff

Most of the guys in the two clubs in the Puget Sound area of Washington use Dupont Imron and PPG paints. They are basically FUEL RESISTANT and match the full sized boat's paint colors, as the full sized boats use the same paints. Here are some pics of some of the boats painted with these paints
