Default prop depth

I have gone a got myself a Cat Hull. It will the the first ground up build, so the fun is about to begin.

My question is a simple one. how deep should the prop be? I am thinking if the stub axis is in line with the bottoms of the hull this the boat will be uncontrollable. too high and the boat wont go too good. Any suggestions?

Default RE: prop depth

The boat won't be uncontrollable, it's called surface drive.
