Default Att: ebay rip off

OK, I was searching ebay for some gas powered boats and noticed this add: [link=http://cgi.ebay.com/44-ENFORCER-RED-GATOR-HULL-HULL-ONLY-BUY-IT-NOW_W0QQitemZ6067056778QQihZ009QQcategoryZ19166QQr dZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting]http://cgi.ebay.com/44-ENFORCER-RED-GATOR-HULL-HULL-ONLY-BUY-IT-NOW_W0QQitemZ6067056778QQihZ009QQcategoryZ19166QQr dZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting[/link] and the seller is asking $320+ 60 shipping for just an enforcer g hull when you can buy them on whobbies site for $240 plus $23 shipping: [link=http://www.easycart.net/cgi-bin/whobbies/order.cgi?orderone++Fiberglass_Hulls+1+FGH200+1]http://www.easycart.net/cgi-bin/whobbies/order.cgi?orderone++Fiberglass_Hulls+1+FGH200+1[/link] The seller must be crazy for asking that much. I figure I must be missing something so can any1 spot anything that would make the ebayer sell the hull that much more or is he just trying to rip people off?

Well , you DID miss this on WWH site :

Shipping for Boats & Hulls - $45.00 in the continental U.S. and will ship UPS Ground (Insured)
Also ... as is with a LOT of EBAY sellers .... he's just trying to make a profit . ( not that I agree or , would even buy a WWH hull ) but , guess he's no different than those guys who sell those TOY rc boats and want $45.00 to ship them .
Or another guy who tried selling some airplane props and starting the auction at $0.01 and offering around a dozen props , but wanting $25.00 to ship them
He does have GOOD ratings and fast shipping ... so , in the long run ... not a rip off , but rather someone trying to gain a little profit on someone elses ignorance ( not everyone intereted in buying a GATOR hull know about WHH either - but , then again , maybe thats a lucky thing ?

It's his business what he sells his boat for.

As long as he doesn't lie about the boat in his auction it is none of your business.
