Default RE: turning problems

Jay',
Simplest answer is that the rudder isn't pointed straight, so make it point 'straight'. The solution isn't quite as simple, since 'straight' doesn't necessarily mean pointed straight to the front of the boat. The shape of the rudder and it's position in relation to the water flowing past it determines where/how the thing has to be pointed. Use the trim control on the radio to make small adjustments (if you've got a trim control). Otherwise, make adjustments to the control rod between servo and rudder in the boat (oh, you're gonna love that!). The greater the speed of the boat the more 'fine' the required adjustment.

PS - Hammers, and large portions of dense material making impact with the boat do not perform the required adjustments. No matter how satisfying it might feel.
