Default Mrp Fastcat?

I just purchased a boat off Ebay and the seller said it was a MRP fastcat, It is single motor, electric power with a manual speed controller. I have no instructions and can't seem to find out anything about it. I am new to r/c boating and am confused by the speed controller. It sits directly on a servo, has a place to hook up the battery, but also has another red and black wire with a connector on it. Does anyone know what this is for? Or does anyone have an instruction sheet? Thanks

Well I kinda thought that but the connector is quite different than the standard one. It is a square with two male posts inside.

i bought a cheap boat that looks very similar to that to use as an electric retrieval boat. it had 2 motors, but a simliar (but far cheaper) design for the speed controller. basically you glued the pcb to the server, then mounted a metal "brush" that would connect various points. it was a 2 speed controller because it had two batteries hooked up (at low, it ran from 1 bat, at high it ran from 2).

the only thing i would say would be another batt... but if its not identical that seems kind of odd. can't you ask the guy you bought it from?

Here is a closer shot showing the other connector, Thanks!
I guess my jpeg file is too large. I'll try to send it to the pagemaster.
