Do esc stop working ? I have a problem with my PT109. The rudder servo works and all the connections seem fine, but the motors will not respond. Any ideas? I'm a novice at this so patience is the watch word.

A picture of your set up might help.
One thing to try is switching the plugs for the rudder and the esc.
If the rudder works on the throttle channel, and there are no bad
connections for your power, then the esc may be bad.

If you swap the ESC and servo plugs (as suggested above), and the motor still doesn't work, then disconnect the ESC from the motor, and connect the battery directly to the motor. If the motor spins, then your ESC is shot. If the motor doesn't spin, then your motor is shot. If the motor is fried, it may have damaged the ESC as well. In that case, replace the motor first and then the ESC if necessary.
Another possibility is your battery voltage is too low, make sure you have a fully charged battery pack. Most ESCs have a LVC (low voltage cutoff). When the battery voltage gets too low, the ESC cuts power to the motor while still providing power to the receiver & servos. To check this, put a voltmeter on your battery while your system is powered up and see what the voltage is.
