I'm pretty new to the nitro rc game. I have a nitro sport with the .15 engine. The problem i have is when it is running and i give it gas the car doesnt move but the engine revs up. Also when I lift the tires upand give it gas they spin really fast as if nothing is wrong.I've had this problem before with my t maxx and determined it to be the nut on the spur gear. I tighted the nut on the nitro sport and it still does the same thing. Does anybody have an idea about whats going on?

Clutch might be out.

Sounds like either the clutch is worn out or you have a disconnect somewhere in the drivetrain. Check clutch first and if it looks ok, start lookg for loose grub screws int he drivetrain.

What make and model is your car exactly? I'm not familiar with the model 'nitro sport'. Who makes it?

that would be made by traxxas foxy! and the issue is he needs new clutches! if you remove the engine and remove the bell housing you will see your clutches worn, therefore the gears can not engage because the clutches do not have no meat! if youy pick the car off the floor yes your wheels will turn because it's running freely...
