Went bashing Saturday with my wife and in law's. We went to my parents place where there is a wooded area. Its beautiful down there this time of year and I the grass is short enough that its pretty nice to run there. I went down to a washout that was pretty dry and had a nice steep dirt hill coming out of both sides of it. I was running my stock 3906 e-maxx (nothing but an upgraded driveline) on lipo's and having a blast trying to climb up out of that gully on both sides. My father in law was running his 3905 e-maxx too. It was a perfect place to run and I had a good time. I ran there about 15 minutes, and the rest of the time i was playing around crawling over logs, climbing some other hills and just running on whatever i could find. Ran for about 40 minutes on a single set of 4000mah lipo's since i wasnt on the throttle hard a whole lot. My whole point to this is that almost any r/c can be a lot of fun in the right area. If i just take this e-maxx outside and run up and down the street, its pretty boring. If i go down to the woods, i can run it all day and not get bored. The same with something like a brushed stadum truck that does 25mph or so. Its boring in the grass, but put it on a technical track with some jumps and its three times as fun.
Anyways, here are some pictures my wife took[8D] The silver truck is mine, and the blue one is my father in laws.

Nice, nice. Yeah, I'll second that sentiment, if you've got a venue that suits your car you can spend hours out there. My pit bottle will only last me about 60-70 minutes, but I can burn the whole thing up powersliding around in my driveway and making speed runs up and down the road out front.

Thanks guys!
Tommygun- Yes that is my wifes stampede. Her mom's stampede is the blue one in the background. They wanted to take some fall pictures, so i figured it'd be a good chance to run too

That's awesome, your wife AND your inlaws into RC?

I was into it for a while and then all of a sudden my father in law (not at the time) took an interest in it. He bought a blitz, then sold that and moved on to an e-maxx and now has about 7 vehicles, one of them being my mother in law's stampede. My wife has a stampede she runs most of the time when we go out as well. Its much more fun than bashing by myself, which is what i used to do. [8D]
