So I keep getting a slow flashing red light on my esc. Low voltage? Check battery is still at 75%. It's been doing this pretty much ever since I bought it. Well I decided to check wires to esc and when I pulled the wires out of the esc. The female banana plugs that the motor wires plug into come out with the male plugs on the motor wires. I think this is what is causing the voltage drop. Causing the flashing red light. I plug the banana plugs back in and esc works just fine. Green light back on. Question is about soldering female plugs back into esc. I have done some searching and seems some of the vxl esc's have the slow flashing red light problem. I just don't want to screw up my esc. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Well, I decided to solder it up. Now the bullet/bananna connectors are in good. I figured I was going to have the same issue, just by looking at the esc when I pulled it off to solder up. Looking at the bottom of the esc, there were three brownish spots that look like where the capacitors got hot and burned the bottom of the esc. Anyways esc still works, just have to unplug battery and plug it back in. Green light back on. Looks like it's time to look for a new esc.
