Default new to lipo

I just received 2 venom 5000 25c 7.4v 2-cell units. Am I supposed to cycle them before I use them they are new. If so what is the proper way to do it . I have an accu-cycle elite charger. I'm totally lost with all this battery stuff. insofar as charge rate, discharge rate etc,etc..I could use all the help I can get. I'm putting them in a new ARRMA KRATON that I just purchased.

thanks a million

You don't really need to cycle them before you use them. The way to to maintain them is to not deep cycle them, meaning don't let them drop too low before you recharge them, Normally the ESC or voltage cutoff will take care of that for you, And as long as you have a good charger you're fine.
