Dash is electric right? I thought 2 motors gave it more torque not more speed. Plus it would be hard to do. Just get a BL setup.

Im kinda new to the terms so your gonna have to explain what a BL setup is. Two motors gives it more speed, i guess depending on the setup. I saw a website(linked from a post) that had a project where someone put two motors in an XXX or sumthin. They were trying to break the land speed record with it.

I found out how to do the electrics for a dual motor setup. Depending how you set the motors up decides if you have torque or speed. Everything is in the electric cars forum under dual motors

bl=brushless. when people say that they are meanin a motor that has no brushes, springs,or what ever a mod motor has dat need replacement.a brushless is the way to go it you have 230 dollar.(for a novak bl) you get the speed of a 10turn motor(lower the turn the faster)and run time of a 3400mah battery if running 3300.and i think with dual motors its mainly tourqe and you will get less runtime. but yea when you get done post some pic. up!!

if i do try dual motors then i have to look into either wiring up a dual battery(saw it done somewhere) or getting better ones. Ill only have four packs so that wouldnt give me a spare and i just spent all my money on buying my car

Is it possible to put two driven pinion gears on a main drive gear? would this be in too much danger of stripping something?

I have heard that it is nearly impossible to upgrade any part of the dash. I had one and by the looks of it the motor is a smaller size then the 540 motor that is standard in the rc world. Because it is really not a hobby car at all I wouldn't try it. Instead I would get something lkike the HPI Sprint. But you don't have to listen to me. Go ahead and try it.
