hitec has the best customer service out of all the radio companies. you will get it back really fast, and you will probably be getting a brand new one, not a repaired servo.

Hitec servos are excellent. Their customer service is also. I used to buy high end Futabas (9402's) for my tc's. Tried a 5925 MG from hitec and never looked back. You might want to try their customer service # before you send it. Dont worry if you already did. They will take care of you.

Can you run two different makes of servos in your car?? I heard if there different voltages then it wont work. Is this right?

Hitec has all the information you need on the website.

They also provide a contact number on the website, give them a call and see what the current turnaround is. The time frame changes depending on how backed up they are but they are known for good customer service. Should not be more than a couple of weeks.

Hitec also has a forum here on rcuniverse for direct contact with a hitec rep.

You need to check polarity on the servos, if your electronics are different in the car (different connectors) then you may have the Hitec backwards.

Most common servos are rated for both 4.8volts and 6volts so you should not have any problems with mixing servos. I do it all the time, I have Hitecs and futabas mixed in my planes and cars. As long as you hook em up right you should see no problems.

In some cases High torque servos will exhibit problems with low voltages or with alkalines, they however should still operate but may not operate at optimum performance. For high torque servos always run 6 volts.

For more detailed information run a search on the radio forum and ask your question directly to manuf. support here on RCuniverse.
