My evader ST has a tendency to jump nose down. Someone told me that softer springs would stop this so I put the white springs on it and the problem got worse. The battery is full aft position. this is all I know otherwise I am stumped.

in mid air pin the throttle see what happens you can usualy controll your car in the air using the torque of the tires pining the throttle will pull the nose up and hitting the brake or reverse will nose it down

Default Try more speed...

My wild dagger was the same way until I upgraded the motors (19Turn's), & gearing (20 Tooth pinion).

Now it launches with the best of them!!

if you find that slamming the throttle in the middle doesn't help (although it should) try adding some weight to the back of the car, like maybe put some small electronic accys onto the back of the rear shock tower, or adding small weights. Be sure to get hard springs up front so that it's not as bad when you land, and so that soft springs don't absorb part of the front of the jump. When you do that you will have the probability of slamming into a wall with no room to slow down (which is why my old old RC10B3 is in pieces now for 2 yrs...)

I must go with the throttle in the air on this one, you can control its angle in the air with the brakes and throttle.

Default re: throttling to control vehicle attitude in flight...

only works when you're going fast enough.

Key in this case is whether or not MYNAMEHERE's car's front end dumps immediately after leaving the ramp.

If so, then I don't care what you do to that throttle, it won't matter.

On the other hand it the front starts to dip with the arc of the jump, then the throttle trick will work.

I know, I've done it in REAL vehicles..

Sorry, I disagree, I dont care how fast your going, Its still going to work, I ride quads and Dirt bikes, works on them also. It may not work so well on full scale because they are alot heavier scalewise.

I know because I have done it with my trucks.

Mr, MYNAMEHERE, hold full throttle on a jump and dont let off and see what happens, I have had eletric and gas and both will flip over backwards.

Put stiffer springs on the front or softer in the rear. Or thinner oil in the front and thicker in the rear.

The throttle advice does not help me at all. I have been trying that since day one and it has never worked. However Gubbs3 I believe that your advice has helped but i am confused in terms of wt which oils is thicker, 35 or 45? Thanks for your advice.

I know it will work if you do it right.

Anyway On my Tmaxx I have 50wt oil in all corners, as does my rc10gt.

try the spring then next then.
