that would kill your smartech, but is a good engine for the revo, or atleast a backup

I would like to try doing that my self to a 1/10 stadium truck. take a look at the mounting holes on the engine, wou may have to drill new mounting holes to line up with the engine, and the enging is a bit wider so you may have to drill new holes to mount it in the buggy, but you are right, it would be alot of fun in a 1/10 buggy

Hey wienersport! I got your engine today! Thanks dude! I thought it wouldn't get here until next week, but sure enough it got here today! It still seems to have good compression so it will make a great backup when my other smt dies. Thanks again!

Great! good to hear that your satisfied! it only has about half a gallon through it and was broken in with the heatcycling method so it should be a good engine. It reached you fairly fast then, 10 days, even with the easter holiday delays.

when does the car speed off, when it is idling in front of you or when you are driving it around? is it out of range? are there other signals in the area?

full batteries? did you break anything when you crashed? the rpm should increase a little just when the fuel runs out, because it leans a little at the end.

You sound to be losing range. If up close it is acting fine and at a bit of a distance it is acting up, first thing i would check is for somthing that may be interfering with your single, then replace the bateries in the reciever, and wrap the batery pack with electrical tape... i had similar issues when I used to use aa bateries. If this fixes the problem, look into a hump pack and charger. also the smt servos will eventully need to be replaced, if the new batteries dont fix the issue it is prob the servos. the stock tx and rx actully isnt bad with the right gear to back it up.

If its right at the moment of running out of fuel (sounds like) they all do that. The engine just goes real lean for a second which gives you amazing power. Not hard on the engine for a short time at run out.

i was running my car in the snow "none on the ground, just falling" when it suddenly took off up an embankment at full speed. it went flying through the air and totally jumped the road. it went through a bout 6 inches of snow in my neighbors yard, and smashed into his house full speed! the rpms kept gaining. i ran over then covered the exhaust, and shut it off. nothing broke, and thank god! i can machine parts, but it is spring break starting tomorrow, so no access to a machine shop for 10 days! any way does anyone know how cheaply i can get all new electronics? because mine suck!

I strongly reccomend loctite for keeping some of the nuts and screws that are likely to come off in place. I had my wheel fall off three times yesterday so i used some loctite on the nut when i got back home, and i ran my car for about two hours today and not a problem.

im not sure i want my car any more. different things i want and if i have a car i will get into the monster truck scene!. ok so i have the original radio in it, i would replace it alough it works fine. the cover is all cracked up, and has been super glued together. the car is compleet, all but batteries. minimal wear on all parts. the engine is in very good working order. 1gal through it. broke in on the ground 1/8 throt for two seconds and idle for 2 for the first tank. i want to know how much you would pay and or how much it is worth.

when I sold mine on ebay it was in excellent condition, with a TON of extra parts, and an extra body. Unfortunately when I sold mine on ebay, I only got $90 for it. [:@] Its never worth it to sell them, you never get back anything close to what you paid for them.

Dont know how good the servos are but a friend use this tx and rx and it works great, good range, alot of settings, memory and abs brake function. I am planning to buy one for myself if i buy a new car. been thinking of a HPI mt2 18ss kit. theyre not to pricey at rcmart and they are willing to state the value on the package to 10$ so i dont have to pay 25% for customs declaration

Hey guys

sadly my Smartech days have come to an end

I have started racing a bit more seriously & have had 2 upgrade 2 a 1/8th scale car (no 1/10th class @ my local track.

So, this means that my Winner Sport buggy is up 4 sale on ebay uk.

It;s in good nick although it had been well used. I guess it could b used for parts, but I think its WAY 2 good 4 that.

Anyway a pic of my local track & the state of my smartech afterwards. U can tell I had fun
