does anybody know when the HB Lightning RR is supposed to come out? Also, what radio comes with it, or is that still undecided?
any help is better than no help.
Thanks,

Have you read the article in this month's Car Action? Probably the most news you will find on the Lightning. It looks pretty good and would look nice sitting beside my Storm. Get it.....Lightning, Storm, oh well, poor excuse for humor :stupid:

The EB-4 S2 Super combo does not come with a center diff and only has one brake pad. Don't buy it for racing unless you get it really, really cheap. Probably the best RTR is the Hyper 7 RTR. It has probably the best engine in an RTR and it handles very well on the track.

Default xtm x-terminator

if you are wanting to know anything about the xtm x-terminator just ask me. any way, i own one and i love it, it really rocks this thing hauls *****!!! you will never lose racing this thing, i have jumped this thing like crazy and havent broke one thing, actually i smacked a tree going off a jump at about 40 mph and absolutely nothing broke, not even a body clip, this buggy will be known for its strength and ability to stay on the track at very high speeds, if anyone wants a new buggy get this one it will bring you long and reliable life, oh and by the way the 24.7 engine is soooo awsome!!!!!

I would get either the Storm RTR or the Storm Pro above all the choices, its the most complete, and has by for the best radio system.

hey man thanks for the quick reply.... lol. jk. The last post i made said that i got a storm, and if you look at the post date it says... 08-15-2002 4:56 PM. That was the last time that i had posted about the buggy problem. Since then, i have bought:

Omega/Picco XT .21 engine
JR Racing ultra torque servo
pro line crowd pleazer body
kyosho blue shock springs
mugen 14t clutch bell
new chassis
6mm shock towers
Ofna 063 inline pipe w/ manifold
Ofna 12v starter box
a bunch of gas, clutch shoes, clutch bearings, clutch springs, and latest is a new fioroni sliding clutch.

I'll try to post a pic if it fits.... if not go here and look at my buggy. There are no new pics of the engine and shock towers, but i'll try to post some asap.

Hey how do you like the sliding clutch? I bought one for my OS RZVBO1 and it wouldnt work because the clutch without spacing on the inside was too far out, so when I tighned the outer fastener, it wont spin! (the outer fastner is clamping the whole assembly from spinning). Do I need to use the Fioroni clutch bell with the sliding clutch so the spacing is right?( I am using a Mugen clutch bell)

I think the different thickness clutch bells has to be the issue. Becasuse with the Mugen stuff, I have to space it although barely,to make it fit nice...... and with the Fioroni, its allready soo far out on the crank, you cant even mount it!

oooooo.... we are talking about 2 different things. put the flywheel on and it goes so far back that it touches the block thus locking it in place. I think that the gold/bronze spacer on the shaft is too skinny.

No, the flywheel doesnt touch the block at all, the clutch bell comes out farther than the end of the crank when using the fioroni flywheel/clutch! So when you tighten the last cap screw, rather than tightening against the end of the crank like it should, it locks the whole assembly up because the crank is 3-4MM too short.
