No, he's a mind gamer
See if you offered to help him, he would put you on the list of people he'll be willing to help in the future. The people that would really need his help wouldn't have the money or extra stuff to pass his test. But the guys that do pass his test and have the money to help him out don't need his help.
How generous!!
This board is realy geting filed with weirdos, flamers, and mind gamers

Listen I've probably got about 20 sticks and about 5 are do to be replaced but if you stop and think about what it would cost to mail them you could possibly purchase 2 or 3 new ones thats all I'm saying, I dont have a problem helping someone out in fact I've given 2 LRP Runner ESC away free to to people that needed them in fact I still have 2 more that I'm considering to give away, RED

Red,
It truly was generous of you to offer
But I thought you were joking with that "it's on its last leg" comment
and a 1200 ma pack??
Evader, something is just strange about you tactics, If you intention is to truly help people then my apologizes to you. I have a couple old but useable 2400s I was going to off, you pay the shipping and they're yours, If you really need them. I'm so confused now??
If you guys want to donate stuff, there's a guy running an after school program for his students that could use your help, I sent him some batteries, old but useable tires, spare parts from cars I don't use anymore, etc. I'm putting another box together for them now.

RCU thanks for the address I'd be more than happy to help out a school that has an interest in this fun hobbie , and yes I was serious about helping that guy out in fact I was gonna send a couple of batterys , then I said is this guy for real or am I just a big softy well he answered that buy telling everyone that he was more or less testing people response to his needs and in my book thats morally wrong. As far as the battery being on it's last leg ,well that was my way of saying that it is for the most part used up, not much zap left in it and I was gonna trash it anyway thats all, sorry for the misunderstanding, RED

here's the lesson boys and girls- People in general are good natured and willing to help one another. However, due to the constant ill intent of others, we are forced to act more apprehensively when someone calls out for help. THis is pretty sad, but it is NOT our fault. It is a reaction to what has happened so often- people trying to take advantage of our natural good will towards others.
So many people have tried to help others- you hear of doctors doing charity work and getting a malpractice suit slammed on them, hitchhikers killing the motorists who were kind enough to stop- it's all a sign of the times. We are forced by nature to be defensive. Case in point. People jumped to help this guy. That was pretty cool I might add.
Then, like too many times before, the originator did NOT have good intentions and was taking advantage of those willing to help.
