I have had my Evader ST for 2 months now and love the thing. I bashed it pretty good last weekend and some of the carb settings came loose. During the bash I lost the low rpm idle screw and my brake and throttle linkage came loose. My hobby store said it would take 2 weeks to get a new idle screw. Do you think I could find one at a hardware store? Also now the everytime I hit the brakes the engine dies. The carb completely cloese when I apply the brake but when I set it to stay open when the brakes are applied the idle rpm is out of control. What should the proper setting be and how do I get it. Any help would be appreciated.

it shuts off because your idle screw fell out, the idle screw holds the carb from closing all the way to prevent shutting off. You might be able to get one at the hard ware store but id wait to get it at the hobby shop to ensure it is the right one.
Good Luck
