Your Ofna box must be for 1/10th scale.
I have one of each and my Ofna 1/8th scale box turns my 21 motor with authority. The 1/8th scale box has a much bigger motor than the 2 540 can type motors in the 1/10 scale box.

My freind was having the same trouble with his RB 12 and the 1/10 scale box this weekend. it's not the compresion but the "fit".
Is it tight at the top even without a glow plug in?.
If so this should losen up after a few runs

I had simalar trouble when I used to race quickie 500 with Nelson engines. When they were new you could hardly turn them over

You'll need to set your box up so the switch can get the motor spinning full speed before the flywheel comes down on it. and make sure the piston is not locked up when you try to start it
Of couse make sure your battery is fully charged

Are you using the stand offs so the chassis is completely off the box?

After a while it should loosen up for you

Good luck

i think im going to pull out the drill (using an adapter of course) and some after run oil, and brake this thing in manually outside of the car, just spin it over slowly a few hundred times ....

What you should do is pre-heat the engine first. Use a heat gun for airplane covering or even a hair dryer. This will expand the engine to the point that you should be able to turn it over with the box. Using a drill is not a good idea since you could damage the threads and kill the engine if there isn't a constant flow of oil.

im using the drill with a pilot shaft that im using just for the drill attatchment, i rung the after run oil through the plug hole constantly ... i run the drill really slowly too ... about 3 turn a second ...

I have done this with DF jet engines for a while ...
