sounds like it could be two things, first check the clutch make sure its kicking and turning the spur gear,if thats happening it might be your diff,im not familair with the model but i would bet on that, good news if its the diff its only gonna cost 10$ bucks ta fix,bad news ya gotta tear in to the tranny but thats fun for me,pay attention to how tight the diff is when ya put it back together too tight burn out to looose wont move /and/or burn out,see ya!

Hey!!
Sounds like the slipper clutch to me!!!
Try tightening it slightly by doing the screws near it up!!!Not to far though or it will act as if the brakes are on all the time!!Cant be good 4 da engine!!!

Oh, by the way...
It could be cutting out because your throttle linkage is set slightly wrong so that when you break there is no gap in the carb. so the engine cant breathe!!!try moving the throttle trim up slightly!!

You should always, always always always always always always always always always always always always always always always adjust the idle speed with the idle speed screw, NOT THE TRIM. That way, when you push the brakes you don't kill the engine. I'm sort of peevish about this if you can't tell.

Start by adjusting the throttle trim so when you are at idle and you push the brakes there is no change in RPM. Then adjust the idle screw to set the idle speed just fast enough so it idles reliably. There is no reason you should ever need to use the throttle trim.
