Well i need help on getting a new armature. Because the one that i had got a pebble stuck in it and this is what happened to it.
its a reedy flash 15t double modified machine wound motor. I found a hand wound 15t double armature replacement. But its hand wound the one thats in the can when you buy it is a machine wound. Would it matter ?? i dont think it would but let me know. Here is the link to the site that i found that carrys the armature http://www.yokomousa.com/motors/motors.htm (((Scroll to where it says accessories and look for the model number YM-ZAA215 15T Double Armature)))).I also have another problem with the motor cutting when i re-installed the stock 15t motor that came with the tc4 ( it was a RTR kit ) anyways when i give it full throttle it kept cutting out far range and sometimes in close range. So i checked the brushes and the spring compression and there both fine it doesnt cut out when i hold it off the ground just fine but when its on the ground it cuts out let me know how to fix it. And let me know if that armature will work. Thanks a bunch, Dustin

what i would do is look for a ready replacement arm and if that doesnt work look for people that are selling motors cheap then do what u want with the motors and with ur interferience problem if the car is graphite u might wanna check were the battery sits that can cause it

Performance wise, a hand wound armature is better than a machine wound one. Hand wound armatures are typically pattern wound with a more precise positioning of the wire. This results in a better (stronger) magnetic field, lower mass moment of inertia, and a better balanced armature (less epoxy or drill balancing requried).
