Default Troubles

HMMMM where to start.. Well today I was out bashing the GT and ran into some troubles. A bit about the car first, RC10GT full ball bearing, OS .12CVX(Iknow kinda weak), MIP pipe, and K&N Filter.
Anyway I was running in gravel for the most part, and hitting a small yet acrobatic sand pile, she was running top notch. I was on the 3rd tank of fuel when I hit the sand pile, soared about 3-3½ feet in air and about 6-7 feet out off the top of the pile. The last time I hit it it landed fine and flat, moved about 3 feet after the landing and a loud pop occured and she quit. I only ran full throttle in short bursts(4-7 seconds) and gave it 20-30 seconds in between full bore. Visually nothing is broke and the piston moves freely yet still tight at the top. I don't even have a full gallon of fuel thruogh this engine. But she won't start. Break in was done properly as i took about 8 tanks during the break in procedure. The car is fine tuned and was even richened up a bit to compansate for the cooler weather, tried to lean it out a bit to see if she would go but to no avail. Guess tomorrow before I head to get the TMaxx I should pull her apart and get parts as needed. I need a new clutch anyway, any particular clutch I should look into. Also thought about a different engine, what would you recomend???, I was thinking the Mugen MT12, comments welcome..

Strange!

Maybe with the head removed you'll be able to see how the piston travels. I wonder if the con rod has damage to it? Something under stress seems to have caused your now "no start engine" to become sick.

Sounds like an experienced engine person would be very useful here. How about guys??? Any suggestions?

True there, never really thought about the rod because spinning the flywheel it feels like it should. Was busy today and never got a chance to tear it down or to make it to the hobby shop. As for tonight maybe when I get home, heading to West Seattle to watch a buddies "Blues" band play at a club. If not tonight then first thing tomorrow, thanks for the help Crash, I really appriciate it..
