I just caught wind from a friend that the stampede has a nasty habit of flipping over, So I am now looking at tamiya kits because I figured if I break something on a kit, I'll know it through and through. So I will be able to repair it.
So i found a suitable kit in the make and model of one of my favorite cars-The 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia sprint 1600 GTA. And it has clear windows for the camera to peek out of!! so it won't be as noticable!

How quick would that be with the tamiya sport tuned motor?

i think that will be hard to find parts for, but it might not go fast enough to break anything

just get a stadium truck like the new rustler X-L5 it has the same motor as that stampede you picked out and it will do 35 easily.

Are tamiya kits that slow? Then it'll have to be the stampede.

tamiya kits are hard to find parts for (it is were i am anyway), your best bet is to get the stampede or rustler, i would say the rustler.

Thanks, but I am not into the stadium truck look. Also does the stampede have see-through windows? like the tamiya kit or the tc4?,Because I need to hide the camera!

You can cut holes in the windows though. Its not that hard. Just take a hole saw or something similar and cut a hole.

I could mount it outside but that would be too obvious,Also the camera's about the size of a quarter.

If you want the camera inside the car without cutting a hole in the body why not just buy a new one (not painted) with clear windows. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXJK44&P=RF
