Visit the large scale forum for the best insight.

The Baja won't have the snap off the line you are used to. It is quick and fun, but different. Nitro engines react light possessed banshees. Gas engines are quick, but not sick.

It is also 2wd, not 4wd.

I still think it will cost less $ in the long run than a Savage and the engine is basic and reliable.

Hi,

My friend got this big buggy and I sometimes play with it. It is good and if you want to increase power and response, you need to get a tuned pipe, you can find it on the bay at 190.

Regards

Joaquim

alsmot everyone on the gaint scale fourms agree that the Baja really needs a pipe, but the Jetpro and samba pispes are way to exposed and are extremly easy to damage + they really mess up the handling of your Baja because of all the wieght so far back. the best option for a exhaust is the X-can. If you really want some power get a big-bore kit.

Since I got my Baja, I don't mess around with my nitros any more. First thing you want to do, is remove the extension off of the muffler. I pulled all the baffles out of my muffler, and cut off the little stinger, drilled the hole out to 3/4", and welded on a 3/4" diameter by 1 1/2" stinger. This increases power very much. I also run coleman fuel in mine. That also increases power. You will not regret getting the Baja.
