I have the same kit with the same 'problem' and ended up using the largest shim PN A471-2 in the front and A471-3 in the rear. I don't know why the larger shim's in the front...but I think after running the car that I will be increasing the shim in the rear to A471-2.

I have one of these 18ss...here are my adlustments...they handle great at parking lots. If you wanna go on track lower both rear and front 1mm each.

RE: Finally finished building my HPI RS4 18 SS!
I appologize, I pulled the wrong part number. The correct part number is 85032. It's in one of the bags of plastic pieces. The shims look like wishbones and there are 6 of them (3 sets) per plastic grouping (which HPI gives you 2 of).
Like I mentioned above, I ended using the largest shim in the front and the middle shim (thickness) in the rear. After driving, I decided to add the thinnest shim to rear (So there is the 2 mm and 1 mm shim for a total of 3 mm in the rear)
If you don't find the plastic right away, turn to page 7 of the manual and find the picture.
