Default Airtronics MX-3 User ?????????????

Finally moved up to an FM computer radio, got myself an MX-3.

I am slightly annoyed by the flashing menu indicator. Is it always like that? The manual does not say anything about stopping the flashing.

For the settings to remain in memory, does the battery have to be in place all the time? What about if I need to change the batteries, will I loose all the settings saved?

I use an MX-A which, from my understanding, has the same menu interface as the MX-3.

The bad news: There's no stopping the flashing. Sorry. I just try to ignore it. You could always just put a piece of duct tape over it I guess.

The good news: The memory is non-volatile, which means that you won't lose your settings when you change your batteries. However, I haven't tested whether or not leaving out the batteries for a long time will clear the memory (as in some digital cameras).

I hope this helps.

If i remember correctly, if you move the menue to model number, i don't think anything will blink, not sure though.
