Default I got it!

Ok, I got a great pic from the manual. It has all the part numbers listed, so you should be able to tell me which part is loose by looking at the pic here:

Ok, 1682 is all of the washers in the carb, so it can't be that, and 1678 is your complete needle valve. It is possible that your needle valve is loose because it is held on by that nut which is part 1680. So, if that is it, you might want to tighten that on your carb. What you can do is look at the pic I posted, then look at your engine and look for that specific nut, then tighten it. If that is what is loose, it should fix your problem.
If it doesn't, then something else is loose. Examine your whole carb and look more closely to see what is loose.

Hope it works out for ya',
Kevin

Really? That's wierd. It shouldn't melt the hose, but try to somehow get it so it isn't facing the heatsink.

There are 3 needles on a Car engine there should be one right beside the Air filter its called the high speed Dont turn the whole caburator. Just screw the high speed needle (Screw) out about 1 turn.

The Car isnt looseing compression its getting hot after running it and it just feels like it doesnt have any compression its really just becasue its hot from running. Make sure u see Smoke coming out the exaust.

Dbow

so if i pull and the piston comes up and pushes the sleeve up then goes back down with little effort then it is time for a new piston and sleeve? Oh will the tuned pipe from the FE fit my SS engine?
