Default Project Time

Hey guys my Q is I want to be able to control 2 DC motors independently like you would in a tank. I could go through the expense of getting a dual H bridge and a RC conversion kit but why spend $100's on a $40 project right. I would love to be able to use 2 C-7 Forward only ESC's That I could pick up for $40 Together. Would it be possible to be able to control fucntions such as Forward, Left and Right? using only these 2 motors and 2 esc's? IF this has been discussed before point me in the right direction and I could answer my own Q. Thanks Guys.

Sure, just wire both escs to a battery and plug each esc into a separate channel, good luck keeping straight. If you want to do it really cheaply you could always make a dual h bridge or use servos as motors.

you need a V-Tail mixer that is used for mixing in rc airplanes
I did exactly what you are wanting, its pretty cool not too hard to control either, (I build a battle bot style robot)
You deffinatly want reversible speed controls, you limit your maneuverability by only being able to go forward (think tank rotating in spot)
