nice list, that shopuld about cover it

by the way, you forgot "Beer" for the fridge.
I agree!! Even with big roll away full of tools there is always something that I need. I do have a beer fridge though, it is the stickered box under the truck bench. I would also include a stereo and a TV if you have room. I just moved a few months ago and set up my garage. My new setup is MUCH nicer than my old one. Here is a recent pic. Good luck and have fun!!

now thats what I'm talking about, great setup.....thanks for sharing

I would place magnet strips along the bench so if you drop any parts they wolnt get lost.

Good idea I just built my workbench out in the shed. Think I might run out and get some magnetic strip and put them on it; I'm constatly loosing small screws among other things []

I would have to agree, I like this idea. Firefighter7, any chance you could post some pics of your workbench, it would be great to see what you came up with.

Thanks TxRR[sm=75_75.gif]
Yea i will post some. Its nothing special, but it works for me. I will post them tomorrow when I get off work.

Those are some nice ideas. I'm new here and still don't have a Car or truck yet. I'm just getting some ideas and goals. I'll have a new truck in about a month or so. Great pictures!

I see some serious there. That is a very large initial investment. If that all came from your LHS you will be getting the VIP treatment every time you walk in from now on!

I've used the cold heat once before and it seems to work just fine. Let me tell you it was a huge purchase and thank god for a supportive wife. I still have my spare room to convert over to my hobby room...........=0)

Sleepy- I do the same thing with my wife. According to her my trucks only cost "About" $100 each. That is one of the main reasons I try to buy all of my stuff from my LHS. I pay in cash and then she never really knows how much money I have tied up in my toys. Like the old saying goes "Ignorance is bliss"

lol the biggest things for me are the tv with cable,a stereo, fridge with drinks, and food. sure all the rest of the stuff is needed too but without these....your gonna find yourself with some migraines because the only thing worse than not being able to figure out what to do or doing a task that takes a long time, is doing one of the two in complete silence [:@] a stress ball might not be a bad idea either.

Maybe a heater inside the shed if you dont already have one, as it's a pin in the butt to work on something if your hands are cold and numb. Maybe a home made parts washer or something, something like a big tuberware container with some mineral spirits poured in so all you have to is submerge the parts and go at them. Also a old tooth brush or a new paint brush works really well when trying to clean parts when you dont want to take the your car apart..

I'm just givin out some ideas that may or may not help you with what you want. But i hope I did more helping then not . Good luck
