Default drifting evos

how many guys out there are driftn their nitros ? how many of u are running the d stage kit ? im running an all alloy chassis and os 18 motors . I only run the hpi rubber drift tires on alloy rims. Ive found that im breaking way to many dogbones and diffs . is anyone else having these problems ? should i just stock up on replacements ?

I drift mine with no shaft problems. I use heavy duty CVD shafts, not dogbones. You engine is pretty overpowered for drifting, you might wanna change your gearing and get titanium shafts.

GPM makes some, im not sure how good they are. I cant remember where i bought my ones. They look pretty strong steel constuction though

yeah , i tried ordering those from that guy before , but they never came . i have the hpi mips but they both broke too . what chassis are u running ? race or stage d?

I ordered from him before too and it came with no problems. Your order must have gotten lost or something. Yes mines just a normal rs4 with drift radials

oooo thats a clean 1 , what engine are u running . i think im going to order so custom ti ones and build the diff with the 33 $ set of machined diff gears

The engine on the pics above was the stock T-15 engine just with a aftermarket cooling head. I just broke-in my .15 CV-RX yesterday and it was sweet ass

The 18ss uses heavy duty diff gears, it also gives you better top speed. You only have the EVO diff gears atm. You really need to get taller gearing, you have too much accelleration that it stresses your drivetrain parts.

yeah , but thats $120 for the 2 diffs .... its kinda hard to do right now . plus, i'm drag racen it against a couple brushless
mini ts ,a dwalt 24volt e maxx , and various other .21 mounted rides .
