Default hey every1

hey newb here, iv had my rc cars for sum time now but as im abit older iv got back into them again, i was wondering , i hav a thunder tiger nitro car it seems to run better with the shell off is this normal??? do i need 2 cut holes in my shell to let more air in????????

advice plzzzzzzz cheers

my cars, celica is the nitro the rx8 is battery just getin the hand of drifing it

Yeah, you could cut a few cooling holes in the front & rear windscreen to get more airflow over the engine...

This is what i did with my Thunder Tiger TS-4...

YES!! your supposed to. Not only does this allow your engine to cool, it lets cool air into your air filter. Cooler air is more dence = more power.
I took it one step father and relocated my air filter to the cooler side of the car for more power!

I wouldnt like to have my filter there right behind the tire in front of the front tire would be better
