Default im thinkin of getting one of them air fiters

hi i wos thinkin of getting one of them air filters for my the big fat ones do they inprove the perfomace?or[&o]

You won't improve the performance by changing filters, just protect the engine more or less. If you're thinking of those big ones that look like cold air induction cones on real cars, forget it, they are no better than a good 2 stage well oiled foam filter, in fact, i'd go as far as to say they are worse. Plus they're big and ugly imo, no bling factor at all. If this is for a buggy, I have to say I've found no better filter than the single stage found as stock on Mugen buggies. Oil it well, and it will protect your engine well. As it's very large and single stage it breathes well.

Yeah. If your talking about those big, Paper airfilters. They do a bad job of filtering air, and provide no extra power. I have yet to find a airfilter that will give better power, or work better then the single stage filters used in the Mugen 1/8th buggies.

I got one of those filters before I read they suck. It wouldn't even fit under the body, so I had to modify it a bit.

Foxy 42 " no bling factor"? come on! alot of people think my intake looks cool
