Of my 4 years in the R/C hobby, I've owned a T-Maxx, a Mini-t, A REVO and a Stampede. I am a serious hardcore racer. In 2006, I won a 2nd place championship at my local track. So with that, I'm always thinking when I'm going to make the next big step in my racing.... well the origianal plan was to get a Turmoil RTR because it was cheap and came with a Spektrum DX2. But when I called my LHS, he said there were none in stock, but there was something else in stock.... a Losi 8ight RTR!!! If that's not cool enough, he's only selling for $550! What a steal. So Friday I will purchase the buggy and Saturday I should be able to break it in and start testing it!!!

I'm so happy... my first big-block and my first 1/8!

"Only $550", man and I thought a buck and half in used stuff was a lot. Ive always said I much rather spend my money on things like this, than boozing it up in a bar or addictions.

Where abouts in Rice lake do you race, Im in Colfax which is Southwest of you! Im a "use to be" getting back into the hobby and Im new to the area, so I'd appreciate some tips if you can help.

i race over in thorp, and abbotsford sometimes. i dont race in ricelake as there are no tracks
